The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
