۞ Say to them, "I exhort you to do one thing: and that is to stand up before God in pairs, or singly, and then reflect. You will thus realize that your companion is not afflicted with madness. He is only a warner, warning you of an impending severe chastisement." 46 Say: Whatever reward I might have asked of you is yours. My reward is the affair of Allah only. He is Witness over all things. 47 Proclaim, “Indeed my Lord sends down the truth; the All Knowing of all the hidden.” 48 Say: The truth has come, and the falsehood shall vanish and shall not come back. 49 Affirm, "If I am in error, I shall carry the burden thereof; and if I am rightly guided, it is because of what my Lord has revealed to me. Truly, He is all-hearing and near at hand." 50 Would that you could see how the unbelievers will be terrified by death from which they cannot escape. They will be seized from a nearby place 51 and say: 'We believe in it' But how can they reach from a place that is distant, 52 They had surely denied it before and aimed without seeing from so far away. 53 And a barrier is set between them and what they desire*, as was done for their earlier groups; indeed they are in a doubt that deceives.
