Al-Dukhaan 2 of 3

and We saved the Children of Israel from a humiliating punishment 30 From Firaun; he was indeed proud, among the transgressors. 31 And We exalted them over the other people knowingly, 32 And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them. 33 These men do say, 34 "After we die, we shall never be raised to life again. 35 Then bring [back] our forefathers, if you should be truthful." 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is in-between the twain sporting. 38 We created them not save in truth; but most of them know it not. 39 The Day of Decision is the appointed time for all. 40 The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive, 41 save him upon whom God has mercy; He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 42
