Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his trust? -- 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 That (the fruit of) his striving will soon come in sight: 40 And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; 41 And that to your Lord is the goal- 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 out of a [mere] drop of sperm as it is poured forth, 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 just as He thrust into perdition those cities that were overthrown 53 Then covered them with that which covered them. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 THIS IS a warning like those warnings of old: 56 The Hour that was to come draws ever nearer. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 While you are indulging in varieties. 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
