Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Has he not heard what is contained in the Book of Moses, 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 It is He who causes laughter and weeping. 43 It is He who causes death and gives life. 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that upon Him is another bringing forth. 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 And that it is He (Allah) Who destroyed the former 'Ad (people), 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And the overthrown cities did He overthrow, 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of the Graces of your Lord (O man!) will you doubt. 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Imminent is imminent; 57 Of it, [from those] besides Allah, there is no remover. 58 Marvel ye then at this statement, 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Wasting your (precious) lifetime in pastime and amusements (singing, etc.). 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
