▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
And for him who dreadeth the standing before his Lord will be two Gardens. 46 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 49 Wherein are two fountains flowing. 50 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 55 In them shall be those who restrained their eyes; before them neither man nor jinni shall have touched them. 56 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 57 [There will be] maidens as fair as corals and rubies. 58 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 59 Should the reward of goodness be aught else but goodness? -- 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And beside them are two other gardens, 62 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain beli? 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 65 In which will be two fountains gushing forth. 66 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 69 In them are good and beautiful women - 70 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 jinn and mankind - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 75 Reclining upon cushions green and carpets beauteous. 76 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 77 Blessed be your Lord's name, full of glory and majesty! 78
