Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 Having [spreading] branches. 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 In the two Gardens flow two springs. 50 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 53 [They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low. 54 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 55 In these [gardens] will be mates of modest gaze, whom neither man nor invisible being will have touched ere then. 56 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 57 As though they were rubies and pearls. 58 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 61 And besides those two will be yet two [other] gardens 62 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 63 Dark-green in colour (from plentiful watering). 64 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 65 therein two fountains of gushing water -- 66 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 67 In them are fruits, palm trees and pomegranates. 68 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 69 Therein will be maidens chaste and beautiful. 70 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 71 with big, black and white beautiful eyes, dwelling in tents. 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 Whom no man or jinn yatmithhunna (has opened their hymens with sexual intercourse) before them. 74 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 75 Reclining on green cushions and fair carpets. 76 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of thy Lord, Mighty and glorious! 78
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
