▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 And make denial thereof your livelihood? 82 Why, then, when [the last breath] comes up to the throat [of a dying man,] 83 the while you are [helplessly] looking on 84 And Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - 85 why then, if you are not revived, 86 Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
