Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning), 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations to come in later times: 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 and he turned to their idols and asked them, "Do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 while it is Allah Who has created you and all that you make?” 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him – We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 and We preserved for him a good name among posterity. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 truly, he was one of Our faithful servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113
