It was He who produced for you hearing, eyes, and hearts, yet little is that you thank. 78 And He has multiplied you through the earth, and to Him shall ye be gathered back. 79 It is He who gives life and causes death and it is He who alternates night and day. Will you not then understand? 80 Nay, but they said the like of what the ancients said. 81 They said, "When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 82 We and our fathers were promised this before; it is nothing but ancient lore!" 83 Say: Unto Whom (belongeth) the earth and whosoever is therein, if ye have knowledge? 84 They will surely say: "Allah's." Say: "Then why do you not take heed?" 85 Say, “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Tremendous Throne?” 86 They will say: Unto Allah (all that belongeth). Say: Will ye not then keep duty (unto Him)? 87 Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?" 88 They will say: (This is) Allah's. Say: From whence are you then deceived? 89 Nay, but We brought them the truth and they are truly liars. 90 Never did God take unto Himself any offspring, nor has there ever been any deity side by side with Him: [for, had there been any,] lo! each deity would surely have stood apart [from the others] in whatever it had created, and they would surely have [tried to] overcome one another! Limitless in His glory is God, [far] above anything that men may devise by way of definition, 91 He knows what is hidden and what is open: too high is He for the partners they attribute to Him! 92
