Indeed, it is We who have sent down to you, [O Muhammad], the Qur'an progressively. 23 Wherefore persevere thou with the commandment of thy Lord, and obey not thou of them, any sinner or ingrate. 24 And, remember the Name of your Lord at the dawn and in the evening; 25 And prostrate for Him in a part of the night, and proclaim His purity into the long night. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 [They will not admit to themselves that] it We who have created them and strengthened their make - and [that] if it be Our will We can replace them entirely with others of their kind. 28 Verily this is an Exhortation; so let him who so will take a way to his Lord. 29 But you will not desire except as God wills. Verily He is all-knowing and all-wise. 30 He admits whoever He will into His grace and has prepared a painful punishment for the evil doers. 31
