Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heavens are rent asunder, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O man! What has deceived you away from your Lord, the Most Beneficent? 6 who has created thee, and formed thee in accordance with what thou art meant' to be, and shaped thy nature in just proportions, 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Kiraman (honourable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). 11 They know whatever you do. 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They will burn therein on the Day of Judgment, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
