Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 Then thereby raise dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And lo! in the love of wealth he is violent. 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
