Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 but you have turned away from it. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 I have only received revelation to give you plain warning. 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
