By no means! By the moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 A warning to mortals, 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In Gardens they will question 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 and we denied the Day of Judgement 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As if they were startled donkeys 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay; every one of them desires that he may be given pages spread out; 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
