The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ THE DECREE of GOD will surely come; so do not try to hasten it: Too glorious and high is He for what they associate with Him. 1 He sends down the angels with the soul of faith – the divine revelations – towards those among His bondmen He wills that, “There is no worship except for Me, therefore fear Me.” 2 He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him. 3 He created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious! 4 He created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat. 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 They carry your heavy loads to lands which you would not have been able to reach without great difficulty. Your Lord is certainly Compassionate and All-Merciful. 7 And He hath created horses and mules and asses that ye may ride there on, and as an adornment; and He createth that which ye know not. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
