And recite to them the story of Ibrahim. 69 He said to his father and to his nation: 'What do you worship' 70 They answered: We worship idols, and we remain ever devoted to them." 71 Said he: "Do [you really think that] they hear you when you invoke them, 72 Or do they benefit you, or do you harm?" 73 They said: nay; but we found our fathers doing in this wise. 74 He said: Have you then considered what you have been worshipping: 75 you, and your elderly fathers? 76 They are an enemy to me, except the Lord of all Being 77 Who hath created me, and He guideth me. 78 "Who gives me food and drink, 79 And when I am ill, it is He who cures me 80 "And Who will cause me to die, and then will bring me to life (again); 81 It is He whom I expect to forgive my sins on the Day of Judgment. 82 "O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous; 83 Make my words come true in the future. 84 And put me among the inheritors of Paradise. 85 "And forgive my father - for, verily, he is among those who have gone astray 86 Degrade me not upon the day when they are raised up, 87 The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail, 88 Unless it be he, who shall bring unto Allah a whole heart, 89 And Paradise will be brought near [that Day] to the righteous. 90 And Hellfire will be brought forth for the deviators, 91 It will be said to them: 'Where is that you worshipped, 92 besides God? Can they help you or even help themselves?" 93 Then they shall be hurled therein, they and the seduced ones. 94 "And the whole hosts of Iblis together. 95 They will say while contending therein, 96 they will say, "By God, we were in clear error 97 when we made you equal with the Lord of the Universe. 98 It was the evildoers who led us astray, 99 We have no intercessors now, 100 nor do we have a truly sincere friend. 101 Then if we only had a return [to the world] and could be of the believers... " 102 There is certainly a sign in that, but most of them would not believe: 103 surely, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 104

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
