The people of Lot cried lies to the Envoys 160 When their fellowman Lut said to them, “Do you not fear?” 161 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 162 "So fear Allah and obey me. 163 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 164 Why do you go for males unlike all other creatures 165 and leave your wives whom your Lord has created for you? You are a people who transgress all bounds." 166 They said: If you desist not, O Lut! you shall surely be of those who are expelled. 167 He said, “I am disgusted with your works.” 168 My Lord! deliver me and my household from that which they work. 169 So We saved him and his family, all, 170 Except an old woman, among those who remained behind. 171 Thereafter, We utterly destroyed the rest, 172 and We sent upon them a rain, an evil rain that fell on those who had been warned. 173 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 174 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 175
