Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 As does boiling water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 They will be told, "Suffer the torment. You had thought yourselves to be majestic and honorable. 49 Verily this is that whereof ye were wont to doubt. 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Dressed in brocade and shot silk, facing one another. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59
