(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 Make my task easy 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 “In order that they may understand my speech.” 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 "Add to my strength through him, 31 "And make him share my task: 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 And remember Thee oft. 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 The Lord said, "Moses, your request is granted. 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 “When We inspired in your mother’s heart whatever was to be inspired.” 38 Saying: Put him into a chest, then cast it down into the river, then the river shall throw him on the shore; there shall take him up one who is an enemy to Me and enemy to him, and I cast down upon you love from Me, and that you might be brought up before My eyes; 39 "Behold! thy sister goeth forth and saith, 'shall I show you one who will nurse and rear the (child)?' So We brought thee back to thy mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve. Then thou didst slay a man, but We saved thee from trouble, and We tried thee in various ways. Then didst thou tarry a number of years with the people of Midian. Then didst thou come hither as ordained, O Moses! 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Go, both of you, to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 43 Then say to him a gentle saying; haply he may be admonished or he may fear. 44 The two said:" Lord! We fear he may commit excesses against us, or transgress all bounds." 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 "So go you both to him, and say: 'Verily, we are Messengers of your Lord, so let the Children of Israel go with us, and torment them not; indeed, we have come with a sign from your Lord! And peace will be upon him who follows the guidance! 47 It has been revealed to us that chastisement shall light upon him who cries lies and turns his back." 48 He asked: "Who then is that Lord of yours, O Moses?" 49 He said: "Our Lord is He Who gave to each (created) thing its form and nature, and further, gave (it) guidance." 50 He (Pharaoh) asked: 'How was it then, with the former generations' 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 (Saying): Eat ye and feed your cattle. Lo! herein verily are portents for men of thought. 54
