AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 We have spread out the earth, how well We have spread it out, 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 (Muhammad), tell them,"Seek refuge in God. I have been sent from Him to plainly warn you. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone and you will not be blamed. 54 But remind, the Reminder will benefit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. 58 The wrong-doers shall receive a portion of the chastisements as their fellows (of yore). So let them not rush Me. 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
