۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And lo! that verily is a tremendous oath, if ye but knew - 76 it is indeed a Glorious Koran, 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Do you then hold this announcement in contempt? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 and that hour you are watching 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 do you not cause the soul to return to him if you are truthful in your claim? 87 (If a dying soul) is of those near to God, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 [he, too, will be welcomed into paradise with the words,] "Peace be unto thee [that art] of those who have attained to righteousness!" 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 then he will be served boiling water, 93 and a roasting in Hell. 94 This is the absolute Truth and certainty. 95 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty! 96
