Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

۞ (O Prophet), Did We not lay open your breast 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 the burden that weighed down thy back? 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard, 7 And incline towards your Lord. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
