Al-nahl 7 of 16
۞ God says: "Do not take to two gods, for there is only one God. So fear Me." 51 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him is duty due always: then will ye fear other than Allah? 52 And ye have no good thing but is from Allah: and moreover, when ye are touched by distress, unto Him ye cry with groans; 53 When He removes your affliction then some of you set up associates to their Lord 54 that they may show ingratitude for the bounties We bestowed upon them. So enjoy yourselves for a while, soon you will come to know (the truth). 55 They even appoint a share of what We have provided for them [to false gods] they know nothing of. You shall surely be questioned about the lies you have been fabricating. 56 And they assign unto Allah daughters - Be He Glorified! - and unto themselves what they desire; 57 When the glad news of the birth of their daughter is brought to them, their faces turn gloomy and black with anger. 58 He hides himself from the people because of the evil of that which is announced to him. Shall he keep it with disgrace or bury it (alive) in the dust? Now surely evil is what they judge. 59 Those who do not believe in the life to come are evil examples. To God belongs all the exalted attributes; He is the Majestic and the All-wise. 60
