The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the sky, (displaying) the Zodiacal Signs; 1 And by the Day promised, 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 Accursed be the People of the Ditch! 4 Full of fire fed by faggots, 5 When they were sitting near it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They took revenge on them only because they believed in the All-mighty, the Al-laudable, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 As for the righteously striving believers, they will live in Paradise wherein streams flow. This is the greatest triumph. 11 Surely thy Lord's assault is terrible. 12 Surely it is He who originates, and brings again, 13 And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate, 14 Lord of the Arsh, the Glorious, 15 Performer of what He desires. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 The unbelievers are indeed engaged in denying it, calling it a lie, 19 And Allah is after them, has them surrounded. 20 But this is an honored Qur'an 21 in a Guarded Tablet. 22
