The Comet (Al-Taareq)

17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

By the heaven, and the night-visitor, 1 And have you understood what the nightly arriver is? 2 (It is) the piercing star. 3 [for] no human being has been left unguarded. 4 Let man consider what he was made of: 5 he was created of gushing water 6 Coming from between the back and the ribs. 7 He certainly has the power to bring him back to life. 8 on the Day when consciences are examined, 9 he shall have no power, and no helper. 10 By the heaven which giveth the returning rain, 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 the Quran is the final word, 13 And it is not amusement. 14 They are devising guile, 15 but I too plan against them. 16 Therefore respite the unbelievers, and delay them for a while. 17

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
