Kingship (Al-Mulk)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent - 1 who created death and life that He might examine which of you is best in deeds, and He is the Almighty, the Forgiving, 2 Who has created the seven heavens one above another, you can see no fault in the creations of the Most Beneficent. Then look again: "Can you see any rifts?" 3 Then look again and yet again, thy sight will return unto thee weakened and made dim. 4 We have adorned the lower heaven with lamps, and We made them a stoning for the satans, We have prepared the punishment of the Blaze for them. 5 And for those who disbelieve in their Lord (Allah) is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination. 6 When they are cast into it they will hear it sighing, the while it boils 7 Almost bursting with fury: Every time a Group is cast therein, its Keepers will ask, "Did no Warner come to you?" 8 They will say: "Yes indeed; a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: 'Allah never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error.'" 9 They will further say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we should not (now) be among the Companions of the Blazing Fire!" 10 So will they confess their guilt. Deprived (of all joys) will be the inmates of Hell. 11 Those who fear their Lord in secret will receive forgiveness and a great reward. 12 And keep your opinion secret or proclaim it, lo! He is Knower of all that is in the breasts (of men). 13 What! Will He Who has created not know? Whereas He knows every detail, the All Aware! 14
