The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
