Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 By those which cause earth's vegetation to revive; 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 Whether of Justification or of Warning;- 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 for what Day has this been appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 15 Have We not destroyed the earlier generations? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 until an appointed time? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40
