Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Hath there come unto thee the story of the Enveloping Event? 1 On that Day, there shall be downcast faces, 2 Working [hard] and exhausted. 3 they shall enter a burning Fire 4 and will be made to drink from a fiercely boiling spring. 5 No food shall be theirs save bitter thorn, 6 which will neither nourish nor satisfy hunger. 7 (Whereas other) faces on that Day will be joyful, 8 well pleased with the result of their striving, 9 They shall be in a Garden lofty: 10 where they will hear no idle talk. 11 There is a stream of running water in it; 12 And within it are couches placed on high, 13 And chosen goblets. 14 and cushions ranged, 15 And carpets spread around. 16 Look they not at the camels, how they are created? 17 And the heaven, how it is reared aloft, 18 And at the mountains - how they are erected? 19 And at the earth, how it is spread out? 20 Therefore remind, you are only a Reminder. 21 thou canst not compel them [to believe]. 22 As for those who turn their back and disbelieve, 23 Him Allah shall torment with the greatest torment. 24 For to Us will be their return; 25 Then, surely, it is for Us to call them to account. 26

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
