Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 and penetrate deep into a host. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 And to that (fact) he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not then know when what is in the graves is raised, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
