And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then caused the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We gave it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like]. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 Lo! thy Lord will gather them together. Lo! He is Wise, Aware. 25
