Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the dwellers of the Rock certainly rejected the apostles; 80 And We gave them Our signs, but from them they were turning away. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the mountains (feeling themselves) secure. 82 But the (mighty) Blast seized them of a morning, 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 We have created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two in accordance with the requirements of truth and wisdom. The Hour is surely coming. So overlook [their faults] with gracious forgiveness. 85 Lo! Thy Lord! He is the All-Wise Creator. 86 And We have bestowed upon thee the Seven Oft-repeated (verses) and the Grand Qur'an. 87 [so] turn, not thine eyes [longingly] towards the worldly benefits which We have granted unto some of those [that deny the truth]. And neither grieve over those [who refuse to heed thee,] but spread the wings of thy tenderness over the believers, 88 and say, 'Surely, I am the manifest warner.' 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 So by your Lord, We will surely question them all 92 For that which they have been working. 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 Surely We will suffice you against the scoffers 95 and those who set up other gods with Allah, indeed, they will soon know. 96 We do indeed know how your heart is distressed at what they say. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 And go on worshipping your Lord till the certainty (of death) comes upon you. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
