When Moses said to his servant (Joshua): "I will not give up till I reach the confluence of two oceans, or I will journey on and on." 60 But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish, which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel. 61 When they had journeyed further on, Moses said to his servant: "Bring us our repast. We are surely fatigued by today's journey." 62 He replied, "Did you see when we were resting by the rock, that I forgot the fish? Satan made me forget it, so I did not mention it. It made its way to the sea in a miraculous way!" 63 Moses said: "That was what we were seeking after:" So they went back on their footsteps, following (the path they had come). 64 and found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed grace from Ourselves and unto whom We had imparted knowledge [issuing] from Ourselves. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 How could you be patient in matters beyond your knowledge?" 68 Moses said, "God willing, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 "If you must follow me," he said, "do not ask me any thing until I speak of it to you myself." 70
