Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They denied Our signs, all of them, so We seized them with a seizure of one Exalted in Might and Perfect in Ability. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those [former ones], or have you immunity in the scripture? 43 Or do they say: "We acting together can defend ourselves"? 44 The group will soon be routed, and will turn their backs to flee. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 Surely We have created everything in measure. 49 And Our command is but one, as the twinkling of an eye. 50 We have destroyed the likes of you in the past: So is there any one who will be warned? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
