Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), enlighten, for by the munificence of your Lord, you are neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Or do they say, 'He is a poet for whom we await Fate's uncertainty'? 30 Say, "Wait, for indeed I am, with you, among the waiters." 31 Does their reason tell them to say this or is it because they are a rebellious people? 32 Or do they say: "He himself has composed this [message]"? Nay, but they are not willing to believe! 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Quran) if they are truthful. 34 Have they not been created from some source, or are they themselves the creators? 35 Or is it they who created the heavens and the earth? No; the truth is that they lack sure faith. 36 Or are the Treasures of thy Lord with them, or are they the managers (of affairs)? 37 Or have they a ladder, by which they can (climb up to heaven and) listen (to its secrets)? Then let (such a) listener of theirs produce a manifest proof. 38 What! The daughters for Him, and the sons for you? 39 Or is it that thou dost ask for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 40 Do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down? 41 Do they want to hatch some plot? Those who deny the truth will be the victims of the plot. 42 Have they, then, any deity other than God? Utterly remote is God, in His limitless glory, from anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 43 And if they were to see a fragment from the sky falling, they would say, "[It is merely] clouds heaped up." 44 Then let them be (O Muhammad), till they meet their day, in which they will be thunder-stricken, 45 Their deception will not avail them in the least on that day, nor will they be helped. 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a punishment beyond that. But most of them know not. 47 And wait thou patiently the judgment of thy Lord; verily thou art before Our eyes; and hallow the praise of thy Lord when thou uprisest. 48 And proclaim His Purity during the night, and when the stars turn back. 49
