The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Verily herein is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
