The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth brings forth her burdens, 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 while whoever has done the smallest particle of evil will see it. 8
