Al-Qamar 3 of 3
And indeed the Noble Messengers came to the people of Firaun. 41 Who denied Our revelations, every one. Therefore We grasped them with the grasp of the Mighty, the Powerful. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a group united, [and therefore] bound to prevail"? 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 Nay, the Hour (of Judgment) is the time promised them (for their full recompense): And that Hour will be most grievous and most bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Verily, We have created all things with Qadar (Divine Preordainments of all things before their creation, as written in the Book of Decrees Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 All their deeds are recorded in their books: 52 And every small and great [thing] is inscribed. 53 [Hence, too,] behold, the God-conscious will find themselves in [a paradise of] gardens and running waters, 54 In a seat of truth (i.e. Paradise), near the Omnipotent King (Allah, the All-Blessed, the Most High, the Owner of Majesty and Honour). 55
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
