O Prophet! Tell thy wives and daughters, and the believing women, that they should cast their outer garments over their persons (when abroad): that is most convenient, that they should be known (as such) and not molested. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease (evil desire for adultery, etc.), and those who spread false news among the people in AlMadinah, cease not, We shall certainly let you overpower them, then they will not be able to stay in it as your neighbours but a little while. 60 Accursed, they would be seized wherever found, and slain mercilessly. 61 The tradition of Allah prevalent among those who passed away before; and you will never find the traditions of Allah changing. 62 Men ask thee concerning the Hour: Say, "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (alone)": and what will make thee understand?- perchance the Hour is nigh! 63 Verily, God has rejected the deniers of the truth, and has readied for them a blazing fire, 64 wherein they will live forever without being able to find any guardian or helper. 65 Upon the day when their faces are turned about in the Fire they shall say, 'Ah, would we had obeyed God and the Messenger! 66 And they will say, “Our Lord! We followed our chiefs and our elders – so they misled us from the path!” 67 Our Lord, give them double punishment and curse them with a mighty curse." 68
