We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 He asked his people: 'Do you not fear (Allah)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your fathers of yore? 126 But they cried him lies; so they will be among the arraigned, 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
