We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 and at night.
