▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens - 46 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 47 With spreading branches; 48 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 49 In them (each) will be two Springs flowing (free); 50 Which of your Lord's favours will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 51 therein of every fruit two kinds -- 52 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 53 Reclining there on carpets lined with brocade, fruits of the garden hanging low within reach. 54 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 55 In the midst of these shall be maidens with modest, restrained glances; maidens whom no man or jinn has ever touched before. 56 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Can any thing else be a response to a favor but a favor? 60 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 61 And besides these two there shall be two other Gardens. 62 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 63 Dark green [in color]. 64 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 65 Wherein are two abundant springs. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 In them will be Fruits, and dates and pomegranates: 68 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? -- 69 In the midst of these will be maidens, good and comely. 70 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 71 [There the blessed will live with their] pure companions sheltered in pavilions. 72 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? - 73 No man or jinn ever touched them before. 74 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 75 They shall be reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the Name of thy Lord, majestic, splendid. 78
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
