What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 towards thee on the right hand and on the left hand in knots? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know. 39 But nay! I swear by the Lord of the rising-places and the setting-places of the planets that We verily are Able 40 To replace them by (others) better than them. And we are not to be outrun. 41 Therefore leave them, involved in their indecencies and play, till they confront their day which they are promised. 42 The Day whereon they shall come forth from the sepulchres hastily, as though they were to an altar hurrying. 43 With lowered eyes, disgrace overcoming them; this is the day, which they had been promised. 44
