By the moon, 32 By the night when it departs. 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 Warn the men. 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 "Nor we used to feed Al-Miskin (the poor); 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
