Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul! 2 Does man assume that We will never assemble his bones? 3 Nay, We are able to put together in perfect order the very tips of his fingers. 4 But man would fain deny what is before him. 5 'When will the Day of Resurrection be' he asks, 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 And the moon is buried in darkness. 8 when the sun and moon are gathered together 9 Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?" 10 No, there shall be no (place of) refuge. 11 Upon that day the recourse shall be to thy Lord. 12 On that day, people will be informed of all that they had done and all that they were supposed to do. 13 Indeed, man shall be a witness against himself, 14 in spite of all the excuses he may offer. 15 (O Prophet), do not stir your tongue hastily (to commit the Revelation to memory). 16 Surely it is for Us to have you commit it to memory and to recite it. 17 When We recite it, follow its recitation (by Us). 18 It's explanation is upon Us. 19 None except you, O disbelievers – you love what you have, the fleeting one. 20 and leave be the Hereafter. 21 On that day, some faces will shine with freshness. 22 Looking at their Lord. 23 And that day will other faces be despondent, 24 knowing that a crushing calamity is about to befall them. 25 Nay; when a man's soul reaches up to the throat, 26 And it is said, "Who will cure [him]?" 27 And he (the dying person) will conclude that it was (the time) of departing (death); 28 And affliction is combined with affliction; 29 To your Lord, that Day, will be the procession. 30

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
