For he neither believed nor prayed, 31 but, on the contrary, he gave the lie to the truth and turned away [from it,] 32 And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]. 33 Woe to you, and woe! 34 Again nearer unto thee and nearer (is the doom). 35 Does man assume that he will be let loose? 36 Was he not once a drop of ejaculated semen, 37 Then he became an 'Alaqa (a clot); then (Allah) shaped and fashioned (him) in due proportion. 38 and fashioned out of it the two sexes, the male and the female? 39 Is not He (Who doeth so) Able to bring the dead to life? 40
