The Human (Al-Insan)
31 verses, revealed in Medina after The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman) before Divorce (Al-Talaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
There surely came over man a period of time when he was a thing not worth mentioning. 1 Verily We created man from a sperm yoked (to the ovum) to bring out his real substance, then gave him hearing and sight. 2 Surely We showed him the Right Path, regardless of whether he chooses to be thankful or unthankful (to his Lord). 3 For the Rejecters we have prepared chains, yokes, and a blazing Fire. 4 Verily, the Abrar (pious, who fear Allah and avoid evil), shall drink a cup (of wine) mixed with water from a spring in Paradise called Kafur. 5 From a fountain whence the bondmen of Allah will drink, causing it to gush abundantly. 6 they who keep their vows and fear a Day whose evil is spread; 7 And feed with food the needy wretch, the orphan and the prisoner, for love of Him, 8 Saying: we feed you only for the sake of Allah; we desire not from you any recompense or thanks. 9 Truly, we fear from our Lord a woefully grim Day." 10 So Allah shall guard them against the woe of that Day, and will procure them freshness and joy, 11 and recompensed them for their patience with a Garden, and silk; 12 Reclining in it, upon thrones; they will not see the hot sunshine in it, nor the bitter cold. 13 And near above them are its shades, and its [fruit] to be picked will be lowered in compliance. 14 And there will be circulated among them vessels of silver and cups having been [created] clear [as glass], 15 Crystal-clear, made of silver. They will determine the measure thereof according to their wishes. 16 Therein they shall be served a cup flavoured with ginger, 17 (The water of) a spring therein, named Salsabil. 18 ۞ And boys of everlasting youth will go about attending them. Looking at them you would think that they were pearls dispersed. 19 When you look around, you will see delights and great dominion. 20 Their raiment will be fine green silk and gold embroidery. Bracelets of silver will they wear. Their Lord will slake their thirst with a pure drink. 21 Verily this is for you by way of recompense, and your endeavour hath been accepted. 22

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
