AND CALL to mind Our servant Job, [how it was] when he cried out to his Sustainer, "Behold, Satan has afflicted me with [utter] weariness and suffering!" 41 'Stamp thy foot! This is a laving-place cool, and a drink.' 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 We said to Him, "Take a handful of twigs in your hand and strike with that but do not break your oath." We found him steadfast. What an excellent servant! He turned constantly to his Lord. 44 And commemorate Our Servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, possessors of Power and Vision. 45 We chose them for a special [purpose] -- proclaiming the message of the Hereafter: 46 They were, in Our sight, truly, of the company of the Elect and the Good. 47 And remember Ismail and Al-Yasha and Zulkifl; and they were all of the best. 48 This is a reminder; and most surely there is an excellent resort for those who guard (against evil), 49 Gardens of Eden, whereof the gates are opened for them, 50 Therein they will recline; therein they will call for fruits in abundance and drinks; 51 ۞ and wherein there shall be with them well-matched, bashful mates. 52 Such is the Promise made, to you for the Day of Account! 53 This is surely Our provision never-ending. 54 This (shall be so); and most surely there is an evil resort for the inordinate ones; 55 Hell, in which they will burn. How vile a resting place! 56 This (shall be so); so let them taste it, boiling and intensely cold (drink). 57 and other such torments. 58 This is a crowd rushing in along with you; no welcome for them; verily they are to roast in the Fire. 59 They will say: "In fact, it is you who will have no welcome. It is you who brought this upon us. What an evil place of rest!" 60 They say, 'Our Lord, whoso forwarded this for us, give him a double chastisement in the Fire!' 61 But why is it that we cannot see men whom we had considered as wicked 62 and whom we mocked? Have they been rescued or can our eyes not find them?" 63 Truly that is just and fitting,- the mutual recriminations of the People of the Fire! 64
