Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 When the graves are overturned, 4 Each soul shall know that which it sent afore and that which it left behind. 5 Human being, what evil has deceived you about your Gracious Lord, 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Despite this, you deny the Day of Judgment, 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 Noble and recording; 11 Who know (all) that ye do. 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 And what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 17 Again, what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
